SARASOTA:
Sarasota’s Inaugural New Year’s Eve Party: Looking for a night of glitz and glamour? Consider this event. Start the night off with live music and appetizers from local restaurants. Then end your evening with a champagne toast as you enjoy a laser lights and fireworks show. (Tickets need to be purchased in advance.)
Sarasota Pineapple Drop: This family friendly event begins with a carnival on State Street starting at 2pm followed by dancing in the streets at 8pm. The official pineapple drop takes place at the intersection of Lemon Avenue and Main Street at midnight. http://www.sarasotanewyearsparty.com/

BRADENTON:
Main Street Live: Bradenton’s biggest street party is located on Old Main Street between Manatee and 3rd Avenues. Music begins at 7 pm with “American Idol” finalist and former Bradenton resident, Sam Woolf.

VENICE:
Party at Sharky’s on the Pier: Enjoy a little rock and roll dance music at Venice’s favorite restaurant. This year’s party will include fireworks and a champagne toast at midnight!
