Dick Vitale and Art Conforti will be hosting an event Thursday evening at 7:00 at the Bella Roma Ristorante to raise money for pediatric cancer research. The event will feature an authentic Italian feast, as well as an auction showcasing limited edition football and basketball memorabilia. The memorabilia will be signed by Jay Wright, Lou Holtz, Dick Vitale and Gary Williams.

Anne Weintraub, a prominent community philanthropist, is also lending a helping hand by spreading word of the event among her friends. Conforti, Vitale and Weintraub would like to bring the community together and share a night of great food and friends, with the proceeds going to a wonderful cause.

Their goal is to make the event affordable so anyone has the chance to join in the fight against pediatric cancer. Plates are $100 per person with all the proceeds benefiting the V Foundation, Dick Vitale’s Grant to pediatric cancer research. Typically, Vitale raises between $1 million and $1.3 million for the V Foundation each year. Join in the fight against pediatric cancer and  team up for a night of fun, friends and delicious Italian cuisine.
